South Africa, occupies the southern tip of Africa Continent, officially known as the Republic of South Africa (RSA). Its coastline stretching more than 2,700 km along the Atlantic and Indian oceans respectively.
In the North, RSA boarders with Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe (West to East side), and to the North East are Mozambique and Swaziland. Inside South Africa; on the Eastern central plain, is the kingdom of Lesotho, an independent democratic country.
The country has 9 provinces: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, North West, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, Limpopo & Free State.
The country has considerable variation in climate whereby most provinces are characterized by Highveld with warm to hot sunny weather in Summer (mid-October to mid-February). The Western Cape province has a Mediterranean climate, with warm to hot, dry, sunny summer weather and mild to cold, rainy conditions in winter season.

South Africa is a Multi-ethnic country whose natives speak different Bantu languages. Out of those, approximately 80.2% are Black African, 8.8% Coloured (multiracial), 8.4% White & 2.5% Asian/Indian.

Cape Town Weather & Climate
Cape Town is characterized by the Mediterranean type of climate, with warm, dry summers and mild, moist winters. During summer (November to February) the temperature on the coast range between 15°C and 35°C. On rare occasions, summer temperatures in the City have risen up to 40°C. In the winter months, (May to August), temperatures range between 7°C and 18°C.
