Tour Itinerary 

Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest Park

Depart from Kampala after an early morning breakfast and head to Kibale Forest National Park, via Mubende. Make a stopover at the Nakayima tree (cultural attraction). The drive will take about 6 to 8 hours on dusty, bumpy and ragged terrain safari roads. Lunch en route, arriving at the park in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge or Kibaale safari Camp.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking/Primate walk (long forest walk): Kibale Forest Park

After breakfast, go for chimpanzee trekking/Primate walk. Taking Packed lunch. The activity takes up most part of the whole day. A variety of primates such as the grey-cheeked mangabeys, colobus monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys can be seen. While exploring several kilometers of  the forest, you may see colourful butterflies, frogs, reptiles and insects as well as The forest is also endemic bird species including the african grey parrot; african and green breasted pittas.  Proceed to Bigodi swamp for a guided nature walk and birdwatching. Relaxation, dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge or Kibaale safari Camp.

Day 3: Kibale – Kampala

After breakfast, return to Kampala. Lunch en route. Stop over at Buwama Crocodile Farm  and the Uganda Equator; located along Masaka-kampala road.
